A Brief Company History
In September 2006, sonoro launched cubo, its ‘first born’ compact audio solution at IFA in Berlin, the world’s largest showcase of electronic and audio/video devices. cubo is sonoro’s colourful line of luxury CD/MP3 player, clock radios in four hand wrapped natural wood veneers and seven high gloss ‘piano’ lacquered finishes. Limited edition colours of cubo are also produced annually.
In 2007, on the consumer electronic world stage at CES in Las Vegas and then at the IFA trade show in Berlin, sonoro introduced the sleek and unique elements suite of products consisting of elements, elements W and eklipse. These minimalist alarm clock radios, CD/MP3 players and iPod charging docks are made for the iPod generation. Like the cubo product line, they too are characterized by the sonoro classic curved-corner handcrafted all wood housings in high gloss lacquered finishes, but are differentiated with a unique acrylic front panel and a LED illuminated brushed metal navigation ring.
