Blood, Sweat, Drum + Bass at Jazzahead! at Messe Bremen

This 26-piece extended big band is ready to blow the audience away - and not just with their large wind section consisting of 14 horns. Featuring Danish musicians and composers, the band plays a unique mix of styles, expanding the traditional big band concept with futuristic rock as well as trip hop elements. All music is composed or arranged by band leader Jens Christian "Chappa" Jensen and transformed into an overwhelming energy by the orchestra on stage.

At jazzahead!, Blood Sweat Drum + Bass will present "On the Road to Damascus": A concert presenting BSD+B together with great musicians from the Middle East (Syria): Maher Mahmoud (oud), MoslemRahal (ney) and a string quartet.
