Berlin, Nationalsocialism: ..between populism and civil disobedience – in 1933 Jazz was kind of blacklisted in Germany! The music was rhetorically defamed under all rules of racism. But it had become indispensable to Berlin entertainment! Never entirely forbidden and partly yet officially supported, there was a threatening ambiguity. What was the regime`s strategy?
